Hi,
i wrote a small patch for Bandersnatch (0.4RC1) for PostgreSQL-Support.
I've tested it with PostgreSQL 8.1, Perl 5.8 and jabberd2 (2.0s1) on Debian.
You can download it here:
http://source.pennewiss.de/bandersnatch/
The patch is only for bandersnatch2.pl, not for bandersnatch-file. The database informations are in db-setup.pgsql. The config.xml has been modified to allow mysql and pgsql-Support. The mysql-section is now called "database". there you can choose by <dbtype>$xyz</dbtype> with xyz={mysql, pgsql} what you want to use. If you want to use pgsql you need "libclass-dbi-pg-perl" installed on your system.
PS.: Why is bandersnatch not downloadable without forum-login? i think this is not good...
Best regards,
Marcel
